Important Announcement about our annual Ride 4 Sickle Cell.
Our "Ride 4 Sickle Cell has been canceled for 2018 and will return in 2019, (date to be announced" on our website, Facebook and on Twitter). It seems that we have run into football season, which competes with (and commands) attention from fans, parents, grandparents, local team coaches, etc. all of which are supporters of the Ride 4 Sickle Cell at other times.
Thanks for your patience and understanding...
In Celebration of Sickle Cell Awareness Month, the Sickle Cell Foundation shares information that the CDC, together with the American Society of Hematology (ASH) http://www.hematology.org/ and the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America (SCDAA) http://www.sicklecelldisease.org/
created the Sickle Cell Trait Toolkit.
The toolkit is a collection of resources to increase understanding of sickle cell trait.
